... must confess I was in a dreadful state - sunburned and much the worse for wear from Wadworths 6X - after a very un-English scorcher of a Cropredy Festival (1987?). Saw him standing about and collared him as to why Peter Vettesse wasn't on the new album (Crest). He said he'd played keyboards on it so I guess that was that. Had a lot of sympathy for him after realising he had to deal with gonks such as myself on a near hourly basis since about 1968.

November 16 1991, this is the day that I was aphotographer for a day ..(LOL) It was a scheme a friend of mine worked up to get us backstage, and it worked. He was dtstioned at a near by Air Force base, and called and asked for passes for the base paper. So he was the reporter and I was the photographer and worked perfectly, even being told that the buffett was not for us but the band. It was a great time going back stage and chatting a bit with Ian and the boys. A fun night and only one picture even came out... I will try and locate the only picture that came out. We had ten minutes to the far left of the stage, I remember leaning on the stage trying to actually take a picture.
