Thanks to DC for pointing me in the direction of this. Very nice solo from Alan Thomson in A New a Day during Martin's recent gig at the Blues Garage - 25.10.2014

Very nice solo from Alan Thomson in A New a Day during Martin's recent gig at the Blues Garage - 25.10.2014 Uploaded by Oskar52 Thanks I was just going to post this. I have this on my FB page. It is so impressive to see Martin as a 4 piece and playing outside the box when doing songs. Thomason is a mofo player and the jamming they do after his solo is soooo what I miss about "Tull" and does not happen over in the Ian Band, good as they are. BTW: This is NOT pitting one act against the other like some f**king sports team argument, which is entirely lame, you like what you like……"I"…. love this kind of stuff….. Gets 5 smiley faces. Darin

I agree about pitting one against another, when you posted this I felt the need to share it simply because I bloody well enjoyed it Even though it may be the same every night, it was fun to see and hear a bit of what appears a loose and rolling bass solo. Best I've heard for a long time.
