Hello everyone! Prog Rock Deep Cuts #44 is now available for streaming! On this week's Deep Cuts, I've got a plethora of progressive goods! First off, I'll have some brand new Renaissance - an excellent 1970s symphonic / folk band. The new record, Symphony of Light, features the entire 2012 touring band, including the late, great Michael Dunford. The album, their first in nearly a decade, also boasts an excellent guest spot from Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) on Flute! Additionally, I'll also have a brand new remix from Gentle Giant and Steven Wilson, 1974's The Power and the Glory. The album has been remixed in glorious 5.1 and stereo, revealing some hidden detail and nuance thought to be lost forever in the mastertape! You can also expect some newly released live music from Steve Hillage, guitarist of the legendary psych / prog band Gong, medieval proggers Gryphon and their excellent Red Queen to Gryphon Three, along with choice cuts from Knifeworld, Diablo Swing Orchestra, Supersister, King Crimson, Can, and so much more! www.mixcloud.com/progrockdeepcuts/prog-rock-deep-cuts-44/
