I just wanted to say hello. I am a new member, just joined and been approved. I am from Boston, Massachusetts. I am a long-time JT fan since hearing them for the first time in high school back in the 70s. I cannot say I possess the knowledge and insight that many forum members do, but I do enjoy the posts I have read and am very much looking forward to the new APP set (yes, I have it pre-ordered!). I happened upon this forum through Facebook actually. A Jethro Tull Group member posted about a recent show I had attended (The Slambovian Circus of Dreams in Natick, MA)...... that led me to the FB group and that, in turn, led me here. I have a LOT of catching up to do on here, so be patient as I find my way around.... As for me: huge sports fan (Red Sox, Patriots), family man - two kids 18 and 16, fervent music fan: JT, Mick Taylor, Kate Bush, Miles Davis, on and on...... Glad to be here! |

I believe I know just who you are, I met you on the first day you came upon the FB page, so glad you could make it. (I won't out you if you don't want lol) You don't have to worry about "knowledge and insights" we don't test! If you got a slight or lethal charge out of Tull way back when or just last year and you have an interest, you already belong! just make yourself at home, you can do some snooping around into some of the threads or just keep up by hitting the "most recent posts" button when you arrive. A lot of great music gets played around here, various Prog stuff gets introduced every week by our great friend Ian Beabout, and Gerrald Bostock brings in a lot of cool stuff too so it's not limited. Let me know if you need help with anything at all. Look forward to maybe some stories or whatever, we're easy. (There's only two words that that would break the unspoken rule. that was a great show (btw).
Well being a Bawstonian myself I know all to well the sports scene, having grown up with the curse, and the concrete Schafer Stadium, the old Garden. Now we have seen all 4 teams win multiple championships in our lifetime. Something I am so grateful for, that my dad has seen the Patriots win a few super bowls.
And yes speaking of the Garden all the great Tull shows I saw there, as well as a few others from Floyd to U2 and a few in between.
Our friend Pat is lucky enough to be seeing Kate Bush in London, he has seen her a few, the lucky bugger.
Thanks for joining our group here take your time and look around post away. By all means enjoy your time on here, and always never hesitate to ask questions.
