Perhaps not the most accomplished of the shows seen so far (Liverpool was flawless)..but certainly one of the most enjoyable. HE was received more enthusiastically than at the other shows attended. Ian was in relaxed and outgoing mood deviating from the stage patter script on a number of occasions with anecdotes inspired by events on stage or in the audience.
This band have fun when they play and this was once again apparent particularly in the second half.
Highlights .....excellent Songs From the Wood and Farm on the Freeway , My God ...best renditions seen so far on this tour.
No obvious musical mishaps although some minor lyrical blunders by Ian Anderson in Pueror , Songs From The Wood and one other HE song.
Friends who accompanied me and who have been to lots of shows over the years said that it ranked as one of the most enjoyable Tull / Ian Anderson shows they had seen. I totally agree , there is a vibrancy and energy about the whole thing that works really well.

Cheers Preston, nice to have a set of objective reviews as the tour progresses, it's whetting my appetite more and more for the 25th.
