Why did I hear that burning shed were sending out t-shirts with pre-order? Anyone here get a t-shirt?

In the Fall of 97 during a weekend of Tull shows from Kitchener Ontario to Toronto I happened upon the Tower Records Marquee in Toronto that Jethro Tull would be performing live in store the following morning. This performance would be followed by a Q&A /meet and greet. I was in Toronto for the Massey Hall gig following a show at LuLu's roadhouse in Kitchner. This was around the Thick as A Brick 25th anniversary release and I remember they did the extended TAAB similar to Bursting Out. It was the first time some of those sections were played in many years and it was great to see Ian and Martin playing off eachother like they used to. I also remember the excitement of hearing one of my favorites "The Whistler" in the setlist until I quickly realized Ian was in pain trying to sing it to which I took a pee break. Anyway, the Toronto Tower records gig was an intimate gathering and I was very glad I accidentally stumbled upon it. A few acoustic numbers just Ian, Martin, and Andy.. then pretty extensive Q&A. I was interviewed for the local news during the event but don't think I made the cut

There was some kind of glitch with proboards around 4:30pm or so. I have had reports that some posts are now missing. Has anyone noticed they posted something that is now gone?

I received my Burning Shed 4 disc set just before release date but only got my Amazon order (CD+DVD) today. I guess they, like everyone else, are at the mercy of the postal system. I guess if you're in the USA or elsewhere then you can't expect it on time. But they did have a couple months with the pre-order to figure it out. Lesson learned. Amazon then.

I will no longer pre-order a new release from Burning Shed. Although I was able to hear the album beforehand there is something that really erks me that Burning Shed dropped the ball when it comes to making sure the Homo Erraticus packages arrive by at the very least ON the release date. Those of us who dished out their cash (and these aint cheap) months ago such as myself should absolutley be able to enjoy recieving the packaging on the release day! I could easily go down the street and pick one up at the record store. So if you ordered from Amazon last week you are enjoying your purchase today, but if you pre-paid months ago you're still waiting around while everyone else has a copy?? This is a serious error if you ask me. I know some who are waiting for the package to listen for the first time and therefore have to aviod web listening etc.. and are unable to enjoy and share in the discussions etc after paying nearly a HUNDRED dollars! If you ask me those who pre-paid should get the release early not late! Shame on you Burning Shed you really blew it!

Nice one lucas! For me the track that glaringly stands out and is my favorite is Tripudium Ad Bellum which flows nicely into After These Wars.

Welcome Ian! Tomorrow (Homo Erraticus day) is my brother Ian's birthday. He was deliberately named after the headmaster himself. Always meant to ask if you were you also? Great shows lately. I've been able to drop in for bits but now see that are archived. Very cool. Keep up the good work!
