I will no longer pre-order a new release from Burning Shed. Although I was able to hear the album beforehand there is something that really erks me that Burning Shed dropped the ball when it comes to making sure the Homo Erraticus packages arrive by at the very least ON the release date. Those of us who dished out their cash (and these aint cheap) months ago such as myself should absolutley be able to enjoy recieving the packaging on the release day! I could easily go down the street and pick one up at the record store. So if you ordered from Amazon last week you are enjoying your purchase today, but if you pre-paid months ago you're still waiting around while everyone else has a copy?? This is a serious error if you ask me. I know some who are waiting for the package to listen for the first time and therefore have to aviod web listening etc.. and are unable to enjoy and share in the discussions etc after paying nearly a HUNDRED dollars! If you ask me those who pre-paid should get the release early not late! Shame on you Burning Shed you really blew it!

They posted my order on April 8th. I thought it would be posted earlier than that, really. In any case, living in Brazil I couldn't expect to get the record in the release day anyway, and It wasn't release in Brazil as usual, so I can't complain much really.

I received my Burning Shed 4 disc set just before release date but only got my Amazon order (CD+DVD) today. I guess they, like everyone else, are at the mercy of the postal system.

I guess if you're in the USA or elsewhere then you can't expect it on time. But they did have a couple months with the pre-order to figure it out. Lesson learned. Amazon then.

The whole listening experience makes a difference without the shadow of a doubt. There were albuns I didn't really cared for, but years after in a second listen with the lyrics at hand, everything changed. I couldn't resist though and I'm enjoying the album on MP3 format alone while I wait my copy, which is in Brazil waiting bureaucratic liberations.

Well I agree you have to listen to a disk a few times, and I also pre order the deluxe box from "Burning Shed" along with the vinyl issue. I also pre order a single CD from Amazon USA and another deluxe box from Amazon. So I was lucky in the fact that I got as a perk from Amazon a digital rip of the disk, which I got on the early AM of the 15th and later in the afternoon I got the physical single disk. But here is the rub with "Burning Shed" as far as I am concerned we paid a ton of money for shipping, and still a lot of folks still do not have their releases knowing that they were shipping some as early as April 8th, it makes no sense that almost 10 days later and 3 days after the official release we still do not have it. Why pre order if you are going to get after it is released.

I'd love a t-shirt although that could go wrong since they don't know my size!
