Hello everyone! Prog Rock Deep Cuts #51 is now available for streaming! On this week's Deep Cuts, I've got so much great music I don't know what to do with it! First up, I'll be featuring brand new music from NYC-based "ethereal" chamber proggers The Cellar and Point and their brand new debut record entitled, ambit. This is excellent, unpredictable chamber rock with lots of classical instrumentation - vibraphone, violin, acoustic guitar, but also with a pronounced modern, electronic edginess. The Cellar and Point, have a definite avant-garde influence here, and have a rare ability to be both challenging and cutting edge, yet lyrical and melodic simultaneously. In a word, beautiful. Also on the program, I'll have some classic music from Krautrock pioneers Neu! (pronounced noy) and their self-entitled debut record. With endless repetitive grooves that build, develop, and mutate across time, space, and consciousness, Neu!'s debut recording is an essential piece of history to the experimental rock connoisseur! All this and more! www.mixcloud.com/progrockdeepcuts/prog-rock-deep-cuts-51/
